PTI MIM #154
I really need to get better at this method, I have so many cards that I mail. But I just can't help myself, I almost always add some bling or layered flowers. Any way, this is my card. I also used the Linen & Canvas impression plate, but that really did not show up in my photo. Hope you had fun with the challenge too.
Most everything was PTI - Stamps: Rosie Posie, Beautiful Blessings, Distressed Stripes, Beautiful Butterflies. Cardstock: rustic cream, simply chartreuse. Ink: simply chartreuse, autumn rose, melon berry, harvest gold. Impression Plate: Linen & Canvas. Other: Colorbox wild hare and Memento tuxedo black.
Wishing you a good day.
D.

LOVE the texture from the impression plate (it comes through just fine when you click on the photo to enlarge it), and your lovely background stamping!
ReplyDeleteThank you, glad the impression shows up
DeleteYour card is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteBeautiful one layer card, Donna! Love how impression plates add this much to a card :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. I was concerned the impression would not show well in the photo.
DeleteWell, Donna you did a beautiful job with this technique. I know I had fun actually just using stamps and ink.
ReplyDeleteI bought the city set late as I was not too sure about it either. I am hooked now!
Forgot to say that I love the sentiment you used.
ReplyDeleteAww... thank you Marybeth (for both comments). The challenge was fun and really good for me. I try so hard each year to mail birthday and anniversary cards to my family (and husband's). Then find I've put too many embellishments on my card and spend extra postage. Lots of good inspiration on this challenge.
Deletebeautiful layering of stamps!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kara. I had fun.
DeleteSo pretty! Love the stripe background!
ReplyDeleteThank you Maryrose, love your name (my sister's name). I need to try and stamp that background with newly purchased PTI Soft Stone ink.
